The qualifier of the games played outside the stadium makes sense (pre-1929). Not sure how the name of a stadium changing makes sense, but that's my fault for attempting to engage in what was clearly.....this.

The more filters someone needs to apply, the more satisfying it is for me.

Desperation levels are high.

LSU doesn't have a winning record at Bryant-Denny though. Bryant-Denny was constructed in 1929. LSU is 9-9 there.

Didn't you just use this one recently?

Don't go getting lazy on us. You ain't network TV. Pop out one of those award winning photo essays instead of a summer rerun.

Any why are the responses about to be full of deflections from that fact?

Sounds like one of those off-season questions.

Wow, purple people, it's just game 2 of the season.

Here's the way this works, Boudreaux. Alabama is 13-11 against LSU in Tuscaloosa and 29-9 in Baton Rouge.
Try to slide around that all you want, but the bottom line is that Alabama OWNS LSU's arse!

Just the facts for those dispassionate people who care about such things---Since LSU solemnly laid The Bear to rest in 1982, LSU is 16-23-1 against Alabama. This century LSU is 10-12. The home team has lost a statistically improbable amount of games on both sides.

Prior to 1982 LSU was waxed by Alabama with no particular difficulty. LSU had a good run from 82-93. LSU won 9/12 to start the 21st century and Bama has won 9/10 in the last decade. It's a weird (1993) and fierce (2011 & 2012) series and people who like football should appreciate it.

That would make Cholly Mac his contemporary. Reminds us all again what was Cholly's record vs coach Bryant?

I covered that . Mac, one of Bryant’s closest personal friends, was gone by 82. Stovall was coach.

He was one of Bear's Boys dumbazz. He played and coached for him at Kentucky. And the only thing Cholly took from BR was many a BAMA butt-kicking. Cholly held the record with 137 wins for LSU. Against Paul "Bear" Bryant 2-14.

There it is . That weird combination of random low IQ and attack dog anger that Bama fans have so perfected. It’s like they create you mono- syllabic ragers in a lab with three parts Joe Biden and two parts abused pit bull. Why ya gotta be so idiotic and angry, baw ? Enjoy your life.
