Why does LSU have a winning record over Alabama at Bryant Denny?

Any why are the responses about to be full of deflections from that fact?

Because for the longest time we played our lesser opponents at Bryant-Denny.

How does LSU have a losing record in Tuscaloosa, but a winning record in BDS?

But the real answer to your question is that we didn't start playing LSU regularly in BDS until shortly before LSU started winning again

Have also played LSU in Montgomery and Mobile (Coach Bryant's first game as HC was against the Tigers in Mobile) fwiw
