Looking back over Iron Bowl history, Auburn typically gets absolutely murdered when they lose this game. For reference:

2018 52-21 loss
2016 30-12 loss
2012 49-0 loss
2011 42-14 loss
2008 36-0 loss
2001 31-7 loss
1992 17-0 loss

Going back 50 years, Auburn has beaten Alabama by more than 10 exactly TWICE. 1969 and 2017, even during the streak of "6" Auburn never beat Alabama by more than 10. Why is it that Auburn tends to waxed so often in this game?

Three of those were losses were the final nail in those coaches' job at Auburn. 2018 might have been had he not been owed $15 mil the next day.

Tubs didn't run it up on anybody. Came back to bite him in 2004

While I can appreciate your honesty, that "edit" down there makes me think it might not have been so nice at first. Lol

Oh, that is rich, considering only one of those teams has been on probation (multiple times) for infractions that occurred during that time frame.

I mean outside of the 2001 debacle Alabama was significantly better than Auburn in all of those games.

Your list is incorrect. Auburn did not play a single football game in 2012.

Auburn has kindhearted players who worry that Gump morons will start shooting each other if their team disappoints.

Not sure you realize but Alabama blew out a whole lot of teams (including good teams) in most of those years because they were really good.

Sure I do realize that, it's just an interesting phenomenon that even when Bama isn't good (Shula years for example), they tend to be fairly competitive in this game. While Auburn just lays down and dies quite often in their Iron Bowl losses.

Tuberville years = Tubershell. Auburn could’ve beaten Alabama by 50 in 2005.

Really?...so why did Auburn have 260 yards of total offensive and Alabama have 270?

The majority of that offensive production came when it wasn’t in doubt. John Parker Wilson came in a had a couple good drives to make it look closer.

Cheating is the only reason Bama blows anyone out.

The only reason they aren't on probation by now, like usual to end their "dynasties", is because they bought the man at the top.

If you watched that game, you wouldn’t ask that question.
