With hugh freeze and sark being considered for jobs just amazes me. Why would they be let go if just few years later we all forgive the coaches and they get a job back at a rival. I remember people said petrino is done after the motorcycle incident. yet he takes a job at western kty for a year to let things blow over then back at Louisville until he ruined that program.
Yet gus ran a clean program and never had a losing season but it was not enough and he could be replaced by a drunk or a bible thumper who called an escort.

Just as in life, character counts less than results, for better or worse.

Its those who pretend it matters ( https://www.auburn.edu/main/welcome/creed.php) and then hire Cam Newton, Bruce Pearl, Hugh Freeze, and were clamoring for Petrino POST motorcycle incident..

Not specific to college football. Human nature to give the appearance of being morally and ethically sound.

And no intelligent person that follows college football thinks morality counts.

It doesn't per se, but everyone loves a good redemption story.

Personally I don’t think paying someone what they’re worth to generate significantly more for you, is immoral. It may be against the rules, but definitely not immoral.

I think we just like to get on our high horse and complain cause it makes us feel better we lost to team X thinking it’s kit because they’re a better program, it’s because they’re scummy.

Now some of the avenues of which the money flows is a bit sketch, but that’s a symptom of the disease that is taking advantage of people.

How is having a problem with drinking and then recovering from it a moral issue?
