It’s just one Bad Batch of Freshman. It was bound to eventually happen. Y’all will be back near the top of the SEC(Behind Alabama of course)next year with a new group

Don’t understand why you would want Cal gone

Who said we want him gone? IMHO, the job is consuming him and he might retire. Cal is not going to get fired, it’s up to him when it is time.

Jesus...Rupp rafters is home of vile idiots who think in their world views. They think UK is going to buyout his contract. It’s not going to happen. Like I said, the only way Cal leave is when he hangs it up.

I said he looks tired and the job is wearing him to the point of exhaustion. He looks like he is in his late 70s because the job is like being the President. It ages you.

One NC (2012)
No final 4 since 2015

I call it the theory of diminishing returns.

Don’t they pay him like 9 million a year?

I'm sure Alabama fans would be calm and collected if Saban was getting his arse kicked all season. Half of you guys wanted him fired after going 10-3

Yeah Bama fans would throw a shite fit if Saban went 5-7 next year and lost the all big games

Saban would fire himself at that point.

My frustration with Cal this year is his unyielding loyalty to his hopeful lottery picks who aren't adjusting well to college yet.

Most spoiled fanbase in college athletics. They always want the hottest flavor: Billy D., Jay Wright, and now Nate Oats.

Saban is largely insulated from a predicament like the one Cal finds himself currently in. If he signs one class full of bad and/or uncoachable players he will just stick them on the bench and process them out after a year. Cal signed a bunch of uncoachable and/or bad freshmen but he doesn't have the luxury of sticking them on the bench because a) it's half his team and b) he's got to get them to the NBA so there's room for the guys he's bringing in next year.

He has to do this. That's the price of going after the ones and dones. And it's the best shot he has to ensure that he gets the next batch of them.
