Look. You edited your post to say what you wanted to say after we were talking. Now you are stretching. I'm not trying to troll Auburn. I have even said a couple of times I thought Gus was a good coach.

I edited my post at 1144 to correct spelling, your rebut was at 1208, so which is it? MAYBE you just misread it ?

I didn't misread it. You edited it, then I made a lengthy post. By the time I looked up all the information for my post, (games Auburn played...games Georgia played...who was ranked when.......checked spelling etc) I have no doubt 15-20 minutes went by.

I didn't mean to be calling you out so much as saying my post didn't fit what you were talking about after your edit. But, sheesh.....you are going to go back a year for a schedule to try to make a point instead of using the most recent year?

Okay. Enough is enough. As I said. My intent was not to troll Auburn, or cast a bad light on Auburn. If you check my earlier posts you will see that. It started spiraling when an Auburn poster wanted to turn it into a Kirby Vs. Gus thread.

ETA
Since it was not my intent to troll Auburn, we may as well just drop this. No point in turning this into some kind of contest of who can take unwarranted jabs at the other....on my part or yours.

Big rival. You guys have been trolling us pretty hard. (I realize some of our guys have been doing the same) Yeah. I can agree with that. Auburn is a legit program. I think a lot about Alabama and LSU, too, if it makes you feel better. I honestly was a little surprised that somebody else would be surprised that Auburn thinks Gus is a pretty good coach. If you check my posts in this thread, I think you will see where I said that, or something similar.

But my intent was simply a football conversation. I actually don't have hard feelings towards Auburn.

16 minutes before 12. 8 minutes after 12.

16+8=45 at Auburn.

At Georgia 16+8=24

Because he is Houston Nutt 2.0. You will get a couple of seasons where you scratch your head about how the talent isn't playing up to where they should be. Then, out of nowhere, he'll have a season where he lands you in the SEC Championship. Wash and repeat.

For two people who loathe one another Nutt and Malzahn have a lot in common.

There's a lot of truth to this actually. From their bone-headed stubbornness on offense & offensive scheme, to the "QB Killer" moniker they earned, to their ability to hood-wink an Admin and get them to way over pay for what amounts to mediocrity.....4-5 losses a year.

Not even close to Nutt. Gus has beaten 3 #1 Teams, won the SECW 1/3rd of his seasons and has played in Big 6 Bowls 3 out of 6 years. His QB killer moniker has to include Marshall and Stidham in 2017. The fact he has beaten Saban twice and put 630 yards on vaunted D in a loss says he is nowhere near Nutt, considering this is the highwater mark in Bama Football history.

11:44 was my edit and it never change the year.

Again. You edited at 11:44. if I looked at it around 11:44 (I honestly don't remember when I looked at it)....do the math. I posted at 12:08.

Because you didn't have a year in the original post.

You just can't quit and take the loss, can you?

Look back. I quoted you directly. Your original post said:

UGA did not play a ranked SECE team all year.

And yes you posted at 11:31 and ...yet for some reason you insist I responded to you at 11:31 to fit your 45 minute narrative when it clearly shows I posted at 12:08.

Hey...again. This isn't getting us anywhere and in the greater scheme of life if it makes you feel better, just take it. It really does not mean as much to me as it apparently does to you.

Hell no. I knew UK and UF were ranked most of the year. I was talking about UGA pinnacle year and how it wouldn't have happen if UGA was in the West. Last year the East was just as good as the West.

UGA really isnt light years ahead of Auburn, LSU, or Texas A&M. You play in what's been a weak east and have not fared well against the West overall. Mullen will have Florida on the rise and South Carolina will get better at times. To put yourself a rung below Alabama is premature. Can Kirby develop players? Can Kirby quit making stupid calls? All remains to be seen. If UGA is the yardstick we have certainly measured up. Gus got past Saban to do what Kirby has done getting through who exactly? Oklahoma who shits the bed every playoff and Vandy?

And no one thinks Gus is a "great" coach anyway - certainly not the Auburn people.

He's a good coach, Auburn is a good team and Gus has them trending along their normal historical path. He is a good ambassador for the program, he has high character and he'll never morally embarrass AU, he is a good Christian family man. There's nothing wrong with Gus, he's there to stay and he knows this is the best shot he'll ever have to compete for championships.
