Why do some SEC fans think that Bama pays players?

Is there any evidence of this?

I feel like any player would consider it an honor to be a part of that program. I don't see any situation where Bama would risk probation to get ONE player.

Just about every blue chip that holds out til NSD gets paid to play football at an SEC school

And by 'just about' I mean 100%

I believe cam rob showed up with a brand new truck in his dads name. To be fair they all do and still do. Tell me this if Reggie bush and Joe (RIP) McKnight were caught doing that why do you think other programs like Bama wouldn't?

Also I've got a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to see you. Very good deal

Is this a serious question??? Bama cheated like a motherfricker from 2007-2012. After that the machine had already been built and the need to buy players was no longer needed.

The Fluker thing. The fact that tons of Bama players from 2008-2012 showed up with new dodge chargers every weekend. Etc.

Ehh, they probably don't have to anymore. Saban has the program on such a level that the brand sells itself to most kids. He put bama back on the national recruiting stage, and if the kid is good enough to get chased hard by bama, he is gonna make millions in a few years given he stays out of trouble. But make no mistake, MOST all P5 teams have some history of cheating. Saban probably did when he first got there (chargers and such) but once he got it rolling he processed all the coaches or money men out. Like I said above bama probably does not even have to cheat anymore from what they have built, but I'm sure there are gumps that wanna feel important and get involved in some shady business with a player to feel like they have contributed in some way. And that could and does happen anywhere, but it could bring down a program with a quickness

They used to.

They don't anymore.

Nor will Nick allow the Ole Misses of the world to follow the same path.

He did it, but no one else is allowed to, because it's just wrong guys.

They had a booster take a bama decommit, who had committed to Auburn, To Pensacola Beach the Sunday before NSD. His HS basketball coach had no idea where he was. He missed a game. Said player shows up at his HS on NSD and signs with bama. Would you consider that against NCAA rules?

Let me see.....quote I've heard a player from a Bama title team say:
"Nothing against the rules when you put your jeans back on after a game and find a wad of 20s in the pocket."

We all pay during recruitment I am willing to bet. I went to high school with a formed Bama player. His mom got a new Escalade after signing day. Triple the value of his house probably lol. Is what it is. Have to do it. I would highly doubt it that any school is actually clean. At least the major programs.

Know of a Bama pledge's mama that suddenly got a brand new and much better paying job. Not pointing out bama specifically, just think it's what has to be done to get some recruits these days. Look at the Cam Newton farce. I think the NCAA looks the other way, unless it's shoved in their face (Ole Miss), because of the schools need that big money.
