The more I look at this team, the worse I feel they are.

Then looking at the schedule I think they will be lucky to win 4 games.

Memphis will whip the dog shite out of them (on ABC) and I believe Arkansas is a better team.

Where on this team is there talent?
Defense? No not at all
Offense? Lost all their great receivers and Corral is trash.

Am I wrong?

Well they were picked by the media to finish 6th in the West, so not sure where you are seeing people who think Ole Miss will win some SEC games. The dogfight with Arky will likely determine 6th/7th in the division. I do like Ole Miss' two running backs, for what it's worth.

Ole Miss is not good but I don't think Corral is a bad player.

Maybe... Maybe not

Breaking in new Offensive and Defensive coordinators. Both should be alot better than their predecessors. I have no idea how effective their new schemes will be early on in the year.

OM has some young and unproven wr's but they are talented. Also have some good running backs that OM should be able to lean on.

Corral is trash.

Corral could be very good. He can spin. RichRod's offense will put his running capability to the test.

Do you know something that I don't? Not saying he's good or bad at this point because of the sample size so you can't really judge. I think saying he's trash is a stretch as well if someone said he was going to just light it up. So many unknowns with him right now.

Ole Miss is stronger than Arkansas and Vanderbilt. They play both at home. I believe they will win those two SEC games.

Rated stronger than both here, at 8.5 to 6.1 and 5.2:

This requires some sort of proof or explanation. I expect you have some?

Props for an Ole Miss thread not started by a state fan.

As far as the teams goes. I honestly think they can have a little success in the SEC as long as Luke let's his coordinators do their thing. They have been proven successful in past positions and can really develop players.

And I don't know where you're getting the "Corral is trash" bit but I've heard good things about him coming from people outside of Ole Miss.

In time I think those hires will prove to be great for the team and Luke. However, there will be some struggles initially. I know that the defense does not have the best personnel to run a 3-4 which they are moving to. I'm not sure how the players will adjust to RichRod's offense which relies heavily on QB pulling the ball and running.

Development will take time but hopefully see improvement towards latter part of year.

Joe Burrow completion % 57.8
Matt Coral completion % 72.7

and that's w/ a much better surrounding cast. QB is not our problem.

OM has serious talent at QB and RB, which would seem to be right in RichRods kitchen. I'm not sure he has the fire anymore though. He mailed it in for Arizona. I think Michigan scarred him for life

You’re going to make me defend LSU.

Burrow 219/379 passing for 2894 yards
Corral 16/22 passing for 239 yards

And for that matter, Tua was 245/355 for 3966 yards - 69%

But I’m sure Corral will be better.
