I would say why did Bama fans get excited to make the NCAAT last year when Kansas has made it almost 30 times in a row, but we all know you guys didn't really care, so

Maybe because a team sitting at 6 wins right now is almost guaranteed to get to 7 and be bowl eligible. Let people be excited about their team and mind your own business.
