Why do people who oppose Alabama getting in suggest we should have a bigger playoff?

My .02 is if you will reward teams who don't play and penalize those who lose, then just announce before the conference championships. That or drop one of the non conference games and expand to 8

They need to just fix the system somehow. IMO it should be 6 with all the P5 champs and one at large. Give 1 and 2 a bye

It's jut bullshite that literally every other team played a conference title game except Bama. Let's compare Bama to Clemson. Both with 1 loss. Had Clemson lost to Miami they would have been out, whereas Bama would have gotten in for not even playing. How is it fair to punish a team for playing in a conference title game while basically rewarding them with nothing. Wisconsin had everything to lose and nothing to gain and paled OSU well. Both wiscy and Bama had one loss. People bitch about wisconsins schedule but Bama did not beat one team with over 9 wins. They just have to somewhow fix this because right now it's broken

If Auburn backdoored their way into the playoff, no Auburn fans would be complaining. It seems Auburn fans are mad because it’s Bama who got in....and that y’all will hear about it for the next year.

The problem with College Football is the entire D-1 has become so watered down. The NCAA needs to go through the power 5 conferences and cut each leage in half and create new conferences/ leagues. There is no reason mid major confrences and lower level power 5 conferences are playing for the same prize. JMO
