Why didn’t OHST try to run on 3rd down to get to the center

Instead of risking an int or sack, Day is not an elite coach. Kicking from the left side is the hardest way to kick unless for some reason the kicker likes it better but it’s just not as natural to kick outwards of your body like that

cause they’re dumb. They ran the down before when they should’ve passed, then passed when they should’ve run.

Because he wasted 1st down when he should have been running a quick slant behind the blitzing of Georgia by running a weak arse run up the middle and left his kicker staring down a 50 yarder still when it was 3rd down. Just terrible play calling in crunch time

they needed to run, they had timeouts.
or throw short swing passes etc to get another 10 or 15.

I think the bigger question is why didn't UGA run the ball more? They were gashing Oh st all game long. Yet got pass happy.
