Plus not running on the goal line is as inexplicable as LSU/Clemson 2nd&2...just one of those unsolved mysteries.

I'm not sure that's really possible.

That was such a stupid play. As far as Bama, they called the perfect defense, actually, then that retardation happened.

Football is a funny, fickle game.

Funny thing about that play was that all of Manziels antics in the pocket weren't even necessary. That happy footed mother fricker. He could have just stepped up and threw the TD pass. Texas A&Ms offensive line last year was damn good.

While I agree that most of JFF's pocket antics were indeed unnecessary, on that particular play, I'm pretty sure Ryan Swope shook his defender at the last minute and the guy covering him fell down trying to recover.

I mean, look how WIDE open Swope was. Manziels happy feet definitely bought him time on that play.

I remember after that play my buddy said "how do you stop that shite?" and I was like, surely Saban has a defensive package that consists of shooting Manziel in the face.

I was pissed and in awe at the same time.

Team was mentally exhausted from whipping LSUs as the week before.

Sometimes all you can do is shake your head.

I will say this, though: JFF's gonna need to pull some more magic plays like that out of his arse next year, cuz Nicky be comin' with the clamps this time.

Saban will make sure to prepare for aTm this time. His record in revenge games is scary good.

A&M is taking the Bama game very seriously as well.

I think JFF will be average (by his standards), but A&M will lean on a better overall offense if they win that game.

Being so early in the year, there will be a lot of unknowns. I really hope CBS makes this the primetime game of the year. Texas A&M-Alabama under the lights in College Station would be epic.

LSU had more speed on the edge than Bama.

Don't overlook that Manziel was a freshman who got a lot better as the season progressed.

UF adjusted well but also had the advantage that they had played a game and we hadn't. After the game Muschamp said he was glad they don't play us this coming year in the regular season.

This is unquestionably the biggest football weekend in the history of Aggie football. Hope A&M seizes the moment, but regardless, the atmosphere will be incredible.

Alabama's fat linebackers were too slow to stop JFF.

A&M has a LONG history of wilting in the spotlight.

Hopefully '12 signaled the program's turning over a new leaf in that department, but time will tell.

Saban didn't prepare for three turnovers caused by the A&M defense?
