claim it as their own? Iowa first used the moniker in 1905, some 17 years before the Aggies tried it.

why do they actually play a player wearing a #12 jersey when the original student brought down out of the stands in 1922 by Dana Bible never even took the field and just stood on the sidelines?

the whole school appears to be built on nothing but a fabricated (and in instances duplicated) sense of of pride.

it all seems fishy ...

... and not very SEC in nature.

We've got that trademark so it doesn't really matter. It's ours.

And the original student who came down from the stands had been on the football team during the regular season but had moved on to basketball so he was not suited up for the game.

In the US copyright is a serious thing.

The fact that we can keep ours is all the validity anyone’s needs.

No two schools create better ORIGINAL traditions than Auburn and Iowa

Auburn - Eagle Flight, Tiger Walk

Iowa - 12th man, pink locker room, waving to the children in the children's hospital

Baylor grad and native Texan Hayden Fry did amazing things in Iowa City. he's a Texan we can all be proud of simply for the fact he wasn't an Aggie.
