Trask looked very good last night and LSU did not have an answer for nearly 3qtrs. Why was Mullen bringing in basically a 3rd string QB who was just one dimensional? Seemed like the turning point in the game. Kind of a bonehead move. LSU got a stop on Defense during that series and finally got some defensive momentum.

Mullen gone Mullen. 4th and ball game. "The Scientology says sped option, but remember you can switch it to the qb draw if you see it's there take it."

I don’t know how to feel about that. In most games trying something different for a series shouldn’t cost you the game unless it turns into a pick 6 or something disastrous like that. This one though was looking like just a couple of stops would be the difference.

I can’t explain it, but I don’t think it would change the outcome. Wereally didn’t slow Burrow down except for two series. Other than that, he did what he wanted. Very entertaining game!

Actually the series changed dramatically when Trask was in the game and we had just busted a big play from Perine and our left off tackle held Chaisson...it was a 42 yd turnover and backed us up to the 15...then a third down sack and we were round our own 5 yd line and punted. LSU quickly scored with a short field and we never recovered after that.

The pick in the end zone also a backbreaker...The call wasn't bad..I understood catching LSU thinking we'd run the ball down near the goal line with 2nd and 1 yd to go...but the execution was off. I believe the WR went the wrong way and Trask threw it where he should have been.

Mullen does it sometimes. But he also has won games with his coaching so is what it is. I'll take crazy occasionally over scared and afraid to take risk.

Mullen reverts to his tendencies. He wants a running QB and damn if he won't force Emory into the game to make it happen.

What's funny is Feleipe wasn't much of a runner either but outside of a play or two, mullen rarely played Emory. Why change that up when Trask is passing the ball so well?

It's easy to second guess when it doesn't work I guess, other than that I though he called a great game. LSU defense made plays when they needed too.

His fake punt against AU too. That could have cost him the game.

Yeah that was really the difference. When you guys rushed it was effective and the int in the end zone was clutch.

Mullen was behind the 8 ball all night. His defense was putrid and he knew he had to score every time he had the ball. The other QB had been effective at times so he rolled the dice.

Ehh I'm fine with Mullen's decisions. The defense though...can't remember the last time I've seen safety and linebacker play this bad at Florida. The angles these dudes take is mind boggling. They can't tackle in space for shite. We can think Jim Mcelwain for recruiting like shite for his entire 3 years.

#13, #29, and #51 last night on the UF defense... Woof.

It’s just what he does and what will keep him from ever being elite.

The cuteness was all game. LSU just didn’t make him pay until that series.

At the other schools he had to use some trickaration to score where at UF the quality of athletes are better and isn’t needed.

A bad habit that he will break sooner than later I hope.

Good question. He just wants a dual threat guy I guess. It’s pretty frustrating. Trask did go 3 and out the previous series though.

I thought he went to Emory late because Aranda had adjusted to the play calling when trask was in the game in the 2nd half
