Why can't Georgia win a national championship with their 5* recruits?

Oh yeah, because Kirby still has to actually coach them.
The funds for those big trucks and other accessories you purchase for the recruits will run out sooner or later. Then what?
Since 2000 (when they started keeping track of recruiting rankings), Georgia has signed 46 5-star recruits. Since then, the following has happened:
There have been 3 Presidents.
The SEC has won 10 national championships (non belonging to Georgia).
Kids being recruited now were not even born in 2000.
It is curious, now looking at their stats, why all of a sudden they increased so much in 5-star recruits. It has to be for shady, because it's not like they've won anything. Going from maybe getting 2-3 5-stars in a good year to now getting 5-7 5-stars? Something isn't right.

I'm not a UGA fan but I know the bulk of their five stars under Kirby are freshman and sophomores. If they don't win the natty next season or the season after I myself as a longhorn fan will give up on them. They are more talented now then 04 & 05 USC and Texas. Let that sink in. I know personally Texas fans are dreaming they wished they had UGA's backfield. As for now UGA is still my favorite sec team.

Georgia's waste of elite talent is as egregious as Florida's inability to sign elite talent.

Poor game planning and even worse on field coaching.
This probably won't be very popular with my fellow UGA fans but Kirby Smart is a hell of a lot better at recruiting than he is coaching. He got schooled by Orgeron for Christ's sake

It's because CMR's recruiting and roster mgt SUCKED the last half of his career.There was no where to go but up.
Our '10,'11,'12 and '13 classes produced less draft picks than Arkansas.
If not for CJP's recruiting in '14 and '15 Kirby would've inherited a complete shite show.

This is a better thread than the other one for sure. We’ve gotten exactly the results expected from our recruiting rankings, why is Georgia under-achieving not a big deal to there fans?
