Why can't Auburn be more like Alabama when it comes to athletics?

This is just sad. Who goes to stoop so low to pay players? Alabama is the cream of the crop when it comes to integrity and it's sports teams. We should all step back, and take a lesson from them. Heck, maybe Florida can learn a lesson or two.

The FBI paid our players. We didn't do it.

On the surface it may appear that way, but would anyone actually be surprised if there was an explosive recruiting scandal at Alabama?

I for one would be shocked! Shocked I tell you!

I especially love it when fans from other schools try to distract from their obvious failures or felonies by suggesting that "Alabama may be guilty of it also."

The AU Creed is their stumbling block. They have this utopian ideal about what they are as an institution and the ideal can only be assuaged by money and bagmen.

AUs desperation to be like daddy manifests itself in ugly ways sometimes.

All you can do is love your family, as misguided as they may sometimes be.

This will be laughed off by 'Good Auburn Men'

Allow me to shock you further, Silverback. It wouldn't shock me if they found a recruiting scandal at LSU, UF, AU or any other big SEC school.

I mentioned bama in the OP because they were used as the shining star example.

You don't believe in the Creed?

I've even shown respect to it as noted by the cap C.

You can't do it in the possessive on a phone without x-ing it out and doing it twice...

Well sure I do. Your fanbase makes fun of it......your post in this thread proves that.

I think the world would be a better place if everybody lived by that Creed. That's just me though.

I would be more shocked if any program could be proven "squeaky clean".
There are a few that take it too far.

Even Vandy has skeletons in the closet more than likely.
