Florida fans are an insecure bunch. How many books are yall going to write on how this year is not an aberration?

They'll write quite a few, and they will strut around like they are the kings of the mountain....but no more than we have done. They won this year and deserve their day in the sun.

Wilson was one of the two secondary players you were missing when y'all screamed his missing was the reason we beat you!

You just can't make this stuff up.

Mississippi State played with less than 53 scholarship athletes and still kept it within a touchdown of you guys, they didn't use the same excuse. You just can't make this stuff up.

We beat Georgia in a half, rolled over and showed ya belly without a fight. Thankfully Leach isn't Georgia's coach or we'd be in some trouble. Imagine what he could do with the most talented roster in the country if he can keep it that close while missing the vast majority of his team.

Strutting is what Ric Flair does. Repeatedly posting whiny short stories on how bright the future is because an Auburn fan questioned it is more of a Leaping Lanny Poffo move.

Vandy kept it close with UF for a while. It happens in the sec.

We did everything we could to lose to UF and if webb completes the pick six, it's anyone score game with our three best defenders out and a walk-on qb with a separated shoulder...

I would not get to cocky.

Didn't y'all say the same thing about UF last year when UF lost 4 senior WRs?

How many times y'all gonna talk about who UF is losing on offense?

Did you bring up that UF has Emory Jones, the entire RB room including Demarckus Bowman (I believe Malik Davis is the only senior), and several young WRs and TEs returning next year?

And you've failed to point out the young OL who are playing well for UF including Josh Braun and Ethan White.

Y'all don't have a clue about UFs roster.

Yeah. So? how does that affect Florida losing over half of their starters?

We beat you 42-7 two years ago because Marco Wilson was out. This year all we have to do is read your board to know he is garbage!

Our "garbage" coach beat Mullen three years in a row and Mullen had a better roster than Mississippi State did last night. Think about that for a bit.

Back to the basement in no time

You realize Emory Jones is the highest rated QB prospect he's recruited as a head coach right?

He's the exact fit for the type of offense Mullen wants to run after Trask leaves.

Emory is no slouch.

They don't even have a clue about their own roster. That's how I was able to predict that they'd be in trouble on offense months before the season started and all of them were completely flabbergasted by the results.

They're low-info football fans, and only when their team is winning do they sometimes slip into average. Expect a lot more nonsense takes to arise.

I just want them to talk about all the seniors UF is losing on defense (when almost all UF fans want the secondary gone )

They did on the last page.

I said the same thing, most of us want McElwain's guys gone, we prefer to play the new blood but again, they don't have their finger anywhere near the pulse of Florida's team.

Crap. I am responsible for what other people say? Maybe? I don't know. but you are losing a lot more than 4 WRs. And you are losing the reason the ball is getting to those WRs.

Dude. Y'all brought up who we are losing on defense but we can't bring up who y'all are losing? Yeah. Seems reasonable,

I brought up Emeory Jones. but it was a Florida fan who said we should see Florida's QB room. (Davis is a RS Junior, btw, so I am guessing he will be back?)

Your young Oline that has 3 seniors and a GT?
Forsythe SR
Heggie SR
Reese GT
DeLance SR

What is so young about that?

quote:

Y'all don't have a clue about UFs roster.
I just pointed out that you were wrong about one of your RBs and your OLine. Maybe I know more about your roster than you do?

Obviously Mullen is doing a crappy job if he is playing less talented players. OR, maybe Grantham is the problem and not the players?

This is rich coming from the guy at a team with the most talent in the country getting bent over and ravaged by Mullen.

Isn't your dude known for his defense?

Really the issues is more: Mullen has only been there for two years before this one, so most of our upperclassmen/those with the most time are starting.

Next year his players (they are much more highly rated than what McElwain left behind) will start.

It's not like he's in his fifth year and is giving up 38 points in one half.

I'm not gonna try to argue this anymore with you.

I had this same exact discussion in a preseason thread about roster talent going forward and your spewing the same arguments.

It's pointless talking about UFs roster to people who don't actually pay attention to who plays and makes major contributions in game.

Kyle Trask threw for 4 touchdowns and 347 yards in the first half — becoming the first quarterback in SEC history to record 4 or more passing touchdowns in 5 straight games — as the Gators routed the Bulldogs 44-28 at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville on Saturday.

Maybe because he has a Heisman finalist on his roster at QB? Something Georgia won't have for at least a decade or two when they finally realize Kirby ain't gonna do shite for them ever again?
