Why are LSU fans melting about goal tending when they won?

Holy shite this board was full of ref bitching threads when you were losing and now it's still full of them when you've won
I hope the refs actually are intentionally fricking Louisiana sports teams just to keep up this dynamic of making you all constantly bitch about everything

So you've noticed that LSU fans post a lot on a LSU site?
Interdasting.

Simple Pavlovian conditioning.
LSU fans have been conditioned to the following cycle:
Big Game -> Loss -> Melt
When they had the big game their minds automatically began the cycle and they ran the protocol to completion despite not losing.
Crazy how nature do dat.

its only natural that the fanbase that coined the term 'victory melt' would be having one during the programs biggest win in decades

Speaking of melts, I think this one filled Rupp Arena with Big Blue salty tears:

You seem upset. I see mostly super-excited LSU fans. I see only two threads from LSU fans talking about the goaltending call. I see more threads from some pissy fans of other teams talking about LSU though.

Where were you touched during the game?
Point it out on this doll.

There are 3 on the front page. 8 on the first two pages. 16 on the first 3 pages. And a pinned thread with 700+ upvotes on the Tiger Rant.

So we should ignore blatantly wrong situations if we win?
I have no idea where you get such flawed logic.

Someone has to, as you people tend to live in your own alternate reality.

Actually, one of the threads doesn't mention goaltending and only mentioned having still shots of the ball after hitting the rim. Sorry to correct you there.
The other two threads were virtually the same thread showing the Kentucky defender's hand going through the rim, but it's still two threads talking about goaltending. I don't go past the first page because although I am a loser, I have my limits. Each page has about 25 threads or so, right? So 16 out of about 75 threads (give or take a few) from LSU fans about goaltending is not a lot considering LSU/Kentucky was the big game of the night in the SEC.
I would hope that the Tiger Rant would have a lot of upvotes defending the ref's final call. How did Bama do tonight? Sleep tight!

Correct. Can you point out where I was wrong in what I said? I just looked at the first page (the current stuff) like 95% of other people on here do. I accurately noted what I saw. Happy to hear you were hanging out in the Tiger Rant tonight after LSU's big W at Rupp though.
