Asst head coaches do all the administrative shite that head coaches don't want to do.

So if you're a head coach and you hire a former head coach to do Asst head coach type stuff, he won't know how to do it.

He always delegated it to others.

How many head coaches started out as head coaches? I'm pretty sure most of them know how to handle the admin shite

Well, now that Mel Tucker is out at UGA as DC...

There is a certain coach in Tuscaloosa I wouldn't mind being our new DB's coach.

What if the former head coaches had been assistant head coaches before becoming head coaches then they would know how to do it correct? You really did not think that one through Harry Rex.
