I assume a guy they didn't think is now going to wreck the west.

Please laugh at Auburn fans

They think we forgot we went from Mario Cristobal and urban to here. That whole hiring process was a disaster.

Because they are Auburn fans and they love their school. I think it was actually a pretty good hire. I thought it was Sark for sure but I was wrong. Hopefully the guy does well.

Sark would have been an amazing hire.

So you think Mario is a better HC than Harsin?

frick yeah Mario is a better hire are you that stupid?? One brings top 3 classes to Oregon where he will win a P5 conference every year. Harsin will never play for an SEC title. You are insane if you think Harsin is a better coach

The hire is good for no other reason that the GOBN was stood up to. That culture change is important. Hopefully it continues.

Yes, and Texas is a better job than Auburn.

I mean if you want to count it up, I think you’ll find obsessed Arkansas fans posting about Auburn’s coaching search more than anyone else, as usual.

The real question will be why Arkansas fans will try to convince everyone that Gus is a good hire in a few years when pittman shits the bed.

Auburn could have hired Tom Herman and it would have been a better hire. Kinda weird to see a coach win 60+ games in Idaho and never get looked at for any P5 jobs until Auburn has nowhere to go. Literally no one should think this will actually work out

If I am able to interpret your gibberish correctly, you are saying that you believe AU fans are pimping Harsin as some kind of Saban-killer.

I believe I speak for most if not all AU fans here, we are cautiously optimistic that Harsin will work out. At the very least he will bring a welcome change to the obviously stale mediocrity we have been subjected to for the past 7 seasons.

At the very least, we expect to continue to beat Arky like a drum.

Cristobal is 25-9 at Oregon. He was 27-47 at FIU. Lifetime he is 52-56. Harsin lifetime is 76-24..........and you are going to tell me Cristobal is a better HC? GTF out with that shite.

Cristobal is 25-9 at a P5 school with several top 3 recruiting classes. If you actually think Harsin is a better hire log out and go to bed.

It’s funny, yet pathetic, when Arkansas fans try to talk shite as though they matter to anyone. Run along, peasant.

And let's not forget they played 3 years ago and Harsin won.

I gotta be honest, your logic is among the most perplexing things I’ve experienced on this board. Cristobal has actually won a P5 championship (twice). Harsin’s record at Boise State, a program he inherited from Chris Petersen and still managed to lose 3+ games per year on average, isn’t the gotcha you seem to think it is.

He has got to be the fricking stupidest poster on this forum and that includes TrueLefty. How could anyone in their right minds think Harsin is a better hire than Cristobal

They’re trying to convince themselves it was a good hire. This is standard operating procedure when your coaching search runs long and you’re in the double digits of your wish list. Ask Tennessee fans how this goes.

He averaged 10 wins a year.........so your math doesn't add up. Harsin was 69-19 in 7 seasons at Boise.

ETA Cristobal at Oregon

'17 0-1
'18 9-4
'19 12-2
'20 4-2
