I don’t know much about other teams corners, but I’m gonna submit Deandre Baker’s name.

The top 5 receivers in yards and Touchdowns he went up against this year had these stats against him.

Equanimeous St. Brown (ND)- 1 catch, 7 yards
J’mon Moore (Mizzou)- 1 catch, 8 yards
Darius Slayton- (AU) 0 catches
Hollywood Brown (OU)- 1 catch, 45 yards
Calvin Ridley- (Bama)- 1 catch, 15 yards, INT

I know LSU and Alabama always have good ones, who will be your best corner next year?

Greedy Williams had a fantastic freshman year. (Redshirt I believe) he should be excellent.

Well, I am sure there is talent, but not a lot of experience. Could be a problem early.

Greedy Williams was a redshirt freshman and led the SEC in interceptions and was the top rated corner in the SEC so I'm sure he will be our normal lock down corner we always have. Patrick Surtain will most likely be starting on the opposite side of Greedy so it'll be business as usual at DBU.

Jamel Dean for AU was actually better than Carlton Davis this year IMO. I really don't remember too many passes completed on him.

Deonte Thompson simply because he is the only starter coming back. Makes some mistakes in coverage but flies all over the field

I don't know who would be our best for next year. I guess Rashad Fenton is our best returning DB as a CB, but then Steve Montac is right up there with him. But we'll also have two others in Jam Williams and Keisean Nixon who IMO will add to Fenton and Montac to make up 4 of the 5 starters for next season. Our secondary should be fine...

Baker will be the early candidate for top corner in the conference next year.

Will be interesting to see how opposing offenses approach the Georgia secondary. Once people realized he was balling out in 17, they started leaving him alone and attacking Parrish.

It very well may be pat surtain jr. That kid is a stud, even though he will be a true fresh, he will start bc he's just too damn good. We are loaded as always in the defensive backfield though, so it wouldn't surprise me if greedy williars builds upon his freshman seasons success and become an all american.

Could be the best in the conference. Marco Wilson. Dude is a lock down stud. Considering he had no safety help all season

I'll throw J.R. Reed's name into the hat.

He started all 15 games after transferring from Tulsa and was 2nd team All-SEC. He was probably one of the biggest surprise players on the 2017 team and I think he has the potential to be our best overall DB. I really hope the coaches consider moving him back down to the STAR position because he was a playmaker there earlier in the year.

What happened to Kristian Fulton, pretty sure it came down to LSU and Arkansas. Prolly could have been a stud here. Wonder if he regrets his decision?

Mike Edwards, hands down.
