My vote goes to Stingley. I would love to say Nolan Smith, but I haven't seen or heard enough to put his name down.
Nakobe Dean is my #2 choice, but his position comes with a bit steeper learning curve.

Stingley, although I think Ika will surprise people.

We talking actual freshman, as in high school last year, or played 4 games in college last year?

DJ Dale - DL - Alabama

Trey Knox wr. Arkansas

Stingley and Emery for the tigers

Got the two for one with Jerrion Ealy. 5 star RB and who might be even better for our baseball team.

Stingley put up insane coverage stats in high school and snagged an INT in the spring game. But he's rumored to be the return specialist too so he should get a chance to showcase some special teams highlights as well. Might put him over the top for best freshman contributor.

May make the biggest impact, just depends how you define best. If the best player is on Alabama or Georgia but not playing as much then can’t really name him I guess. I expect a couple of our highly rated freshmen receivers to play a shite ton.

I'm hoping Will Reichard.

He's starting at corner for LSU over a guy who would definitely start on almost any team in the country. Hear he looks like a complete stud that may end up being the best corner @ LSU by end of season - as a freshman.
