Who would we get to replace Mizzou?

West Virginia?
NC State?
I don’t think we’d swing UNC or UVA because they’d both have to come with Duke and VT respectively. I think the two I mentioned could be likely..
NC State seems like the most logical choice given they’d leave UNC and Duke in a heartbeat (I think), and we’d pick up the Raleigh TV market and to a lesser extent all of NC?

And I’m saying it makes no sense because Clemson will never be in the SEC. On another level it doubly doesn’t make sense because we play them every year anyway (minus COVID of course). So yeah dumb post is dumb.
Triply, it would hurt Clemson in the immediate to be in the SEC over the cushy ACC it has become for them.

To me it seems like a lot of us have gotten excited about the possibility. Says a lot more about Mizzou than it does us.

I agree for the most part. In terms of culture, I think a team from NC is a better fit than a team from Missouri.

NC State much better than West Virginia. Better market. Better basketball.
Football is OK. And we don't need West Virginia's trashiness. We got enough of that from Baton Rouge.
Though singing Country Roads with West Virginia is on my bucket list.

Clemson would be a good fit atleast geographically, but they don't want those problems. Although they would dominate the East. But I doubt Mizzou is going anywhere. I could see Choklahoma before Va or UNC but I realize that it would make no sense to add a west team to replace an east team's departure.
