Petrini in a hotbed of defensive recruits would be game over.

Jimbo -Most solid. Best fundamental football team.
Herman -Waaaay overrated
Fedora-Pretty good, not elite
Fleck -One year wonder who would be eaten alive in the SEC
Orgeron- Not at all
Mullen-Less than Orgeron
Petrino-Would not make it. Would give up 42 pts a game

None would be scary. Jimbo would have to be dealt with. Maybe Fedora. The rest wouldn't even move the needle.

Anybody in the world? Urban, Saban or Belichick would be scary but these guys aren't in the same zip code as those 3.

One of the guys on that list is a 2nd cousin, so with that said, him. I'd hate to have to be a fan of LSU, I would feel dirty. Other than him, Chip Kelly.

Not afraid of any coach but I think Petrino with elite talent and a defense would be very hard to beat.

Bert.

His lack of skill at recruiting would be masked by the talent rich region and in a season where a ton of top notch programs will be looking for a new head coach we would be one of many.

Although I think he's overrated.

PLEASE don't hire Sumlin. It would permanently break A&M's program.

Jimbo or Petrino with a good DC like Aranda would be a very strong combo.

The one most folks dont talk about as scary was Arnsparger.
He was building a machine in Baton Rouge. He just didn't stay long enough to see it through. At that time he couldn't get money from the Administration. Had they been more football oriented then Arnsparger would have stayed and he would have had LSU competing for the SEC just about every year.
