Bama will have 6 LSU will have 3 A&M will have 1

Bama might be the favorite this year if TAM's defense proves too light for another full SEC schedule, but after this year, both Bama and LSU start over with new and untested QBs against TAM, who will still have Johnny Football and a deeper talent level as they rapidly gain ground with a greatly improved recruiting program.

The tie-breaker rules will come into play much more often over the next 10 years.

Both Bama and TAM have a less competitive SEC schedule than LSU, but that advantage will be off-set by LSU’s increased recruiting on offense due to the addition of Cameron.

LSU 3, Bama 3, TAM 3, Auburn or Ole Miss 1 with tiebreaker luck.

Ten years is a long time for coaching staffs to stick together.

I think the first few posters immediately crossing of LSU set y'all up more for that than saying y'all will have a good team. LSU, Texas A&M, and probably even Ole Miss will have a good team more times than not over the next 10 years.

You guys are gonna be experiencing a huge drop off in offensive production next year

Derp
LSU Offensive Rankings
Passing Yards - 94th
Rushing Yards - 51st
Scoring - 59th

Yep, huge drop off coming after such an awesome year on that side of the ball with 9 starters returning.

We won the SEC with probably the worst QB in the history of our program.

Nobody is saying we thing A&M and Ole Miss will be bad. We are saying that in 10 years its is much more likely for LSU to win more SECW titles than them.

Lets just be honest here, all three teams will be starting over with a new qb after next season.

Why do LSU fans think they will have a good offense under Cameron? When he got fired, were the ravens even a team that could get past the first round of playoffs? This is NOT the once in a lifetime OC every LSU fan thinks he is. I don't care about past success, and nobody should. With Hill suspended, you won't be able to run your offense on the ground 80% of the time anymore, and mett is not a good qb based on what ive seen of him. You guys are gonna be experiencing a huge drop off in offensive production next year, and any same person should know that

I just want to point out that I don't think LSU fans are freaking out or acting like bitches, or anything like that.

My point stands and has yet to be acknowledged. I will state it again:

Whomever wins the SEC West the most over the next 10 years will have precisely DICK to do with how they performed in the past.

That's fine, and you're right. The point is that LSU has been the most consistent program in the SEC since the turn of the millennium.

Even in our worst season we won 8 games. It stands to reason that as long as we continue to build on the previous years success, we will have a better chance of winning the division. We won the west in 01, 03, 05, 07, and 11.

The past has some predictive control of the future. The top programs tend to have staying power. The top dogs of the SEC as well as programs like Oregon have been dominant as of late. These programs will not be on top forever. However, it is foolish not to look at trends over the course of recent seasons.

Yes. That's it. Rest on your laurels.

Our recruiting suggests that we're going to be just fine.

I know how badly you want LSU to fall off but it takes some serious mental gymnastics to come up with a reason why it's imminent other than your hopes and dreams

He is right tho. Look how quickly Florida and Tennessee fell off.

Those were extenuating circumstances, but still.

It does NOT stand to reason. If your argument is that your sustained consistency has allowed top-notch recruiting, and thereby you have a better chance that others to win more, then that's a better argument than claiming that your past consistency alone will result in future consistency, which will result in more championships than other programs.

In other words, any success that is more than 4 years old is irrelevant. Recruiting and retention of players and coaches MAY be relevant in a vacuum. All of this ignores the additional dynamic of A&M being in the league v. two years ago.
