Tale of the tape
Dooley : 6-7, 5-7, 5-7. Bright orange pants, wasted 2 NFL drafted recievers and an NFL drafted qb.
John L. Smith: 4-8. Wasted NFL drafted qb, NFL drafted reviever, and wanted everyone to smile.

Ebola squeezes out a win against which was worst of the three.
Thankfully Dooley and Smith will never darken our conference again. I mean unless someone hires Dooley to be their OC!

Unpopular opinion: If Dooley hadn't tried to change his defense to a 3-4 when he was on the hot seat and his roster was completely unprepared for it, he would have gotten at least 1 more season and would be seen as a middling disappointment (and still goofy). His roster management was as bad as Muschamp's but he was not a total disaster as a coach.
JLS gave about a fart's worth of effort as a HC, like he wasn't even trying and didn't care at all.

John L just wanted the checks to help out during his fiscal distress from bad land deals.

That actually used to be a fairly popular opinion but in retrospect, I'm watching Pruitt transition from a 4-3 to a 3-4 and it's not been anything like the Dooley transition that made the number 3 and 4 spoken together curse words. We're desperately in search of CBs right now but the DLs and LBs are already farther along than what was going on when Dooley tried to transition.

You're underestimating the talent he wasted on offense. We had an all-world OL and ~5-6 of them are current starters or contributors. One was the 19th overall pick of the draft (Ja'Waun James OL) whereas Tiny would've also been taken ridiculously high as an LT were it not for his health.
Dooley had:
Tyler Bray
Da'Rick Rodgers (who would've been a great NFL WR had he not been a head case)
Mychal Rivera - TE
Justin Hunter - WR
Cordarrelle Patterson - WR
And many more. He even had Malik Jackson. It's insane the amount of NFL talent he wasted.

JLS. He didn’t put 12 men on the field vs LSU at all in his tenure.

It seems as if the Derek Dooley/ John L. Smith/ C. Butch Jones Wall Of Flaw has been replaced by LSU's Orgeron. He may prove the worst SEC coach in recorded history.

Johnelle took a team that finished #5 in the final AP poll the year before to 4-8, and we still haven't recovered to a consistent top 25 team.
Has any SEC HC actually done more damage to a program in such a short amount of time? I doubt it.

Tennessee serves as a good proving grounds for young coaches. Prepares them to be ready for a big time job like OC at Mizzou.
Arkansas is just a wasteland where coaches go to get a check and fade away. So who cares.

I want to start a thread entitled "Who is a better poster, the poster who makes the original stupid thread or the poster who copies it for the 10th time as a joke" but I can't figure out how to do so without being crushed by the irony and hypocrisy. FML.
