Saban HATES to lose! Are you serious???

Saban seemed really passive in the last 2 games.
What's up with that?
Also, I find it funny that he gets a contract extension after Alabama's performance versus their last 3 FBS opponents. Heck, LSU was giving Alabama a hard time in the 1st half of the Saban Bowl.

Alabama struggled away from home against decent competition all year going back to the A&M game.

They only played five games away from home.

A&M
Kentucky
Mississippi State
Auburn
Oklahoma

They just aren't the dominant team they were made out to be.

You forgot Virginia Tech.

I think this game was really important to them. A team that is used to winning ends their season with a loss to their hated in-state rival who now basically takes "their" place in the NC game, they go up against a team/coach who is known to take shots at the SEC, & their senior class, the most successful class in Bama history, wants to go out on a winning note....you better believe they cared about winning this game. Problem is/was, this team got a case of the "big head" & didn't t think they would lose because, for God's sake, they are Bama. They didn't expect OU to come out & be ready to go toe to toe with them & once they got hit, the wheels started to come off & they lost their composure. "Big game lil' Nicky" has a big job ahead of him for next season, that young defense will have to mature physically & mentally to be able to compete at the level they are used to & they will be breaking in a new qb & looking for some new leadership. This 2 game losing streak is going to sting for a while. Don't get me wrong, their is no #decline happening but maybe they've come back down to earth a little. And it's not just the players, the last two games the almighty Saban has made some questionable decisions, like why did they abandon the run game against OU last night?

I actually don't think that was the case, but rather they just played like shite.

08 vs Utah was a case of not giving a shite.

The national championship was on the line. Of course they cared.

i hate this excuse- it's the one that lsu uses every time they lose.

if you're a player and you can't get motivated then you suck.

We don't lose - we just make excuses.

Almost forgot, Bama did not handle that hurry up offense too well either. Many times their defense wasn't even set when the ball was snapped. Sabanation got out coached, AJ McCarron played like a shell shocked freshman and OUs QB played like a poised Senior.

I felt like it meant a lot more to OU.

AJ "claimed" bama wanted to show the nation who the real best team in the nation was. The truth is.......bama was never as good as the public perception was about them.
