You save up all year in your trailer park for a chance to sleep in a cousin/wife's el camino in the Superdome vicinity eating walmarks chili straight out the can so you can pay your lot fees next month, I think that this loss hurts...so yah those toothless muthafrickas cared...

If everyone including your starting QB makes a comment like "Bama is still best team in the country", then u kinda hafta prove it.

I call that game a revenge win for Stoops over Saban for the loss LSU handed them in 2003 NCG.

It's going to be hard to beat any team with 5 turnovers. Bama put the game in the hands of AJ. They have a running back who was averaging 12.5 yards per carry. 8 carries for 100 yards. 1 screen reception for a 61 yard touch down. That was Bamas weapon and they did not use it enough. When you have big powerful running backs like Derrick Henry, Jeremy Hill, and Gurley you have to give them the ball. Backs like that absolutely demoralizes defenses. It wears them down so that you can have your way with them and it keeps a good offense off the field. Everyone knows it, most people say it, but some programs will not don't recognize it all the time. It has become a high flying pass happy sport. It's all about the QB and the receiver now. Hell even in the draft you can get a really good running back in the 4th round. Bama lost due to their choice in personnel on the field and trying to make AJ into to something he will never be,,,an elite QB. He's good, but not elite. That QB from OU is the real deal especially for a Freshmen.

Saban HATES to lose! Are you serious???
Saban is furious to look less than stellar versus a cocky coach like Stoops as well. This will bother him a while. Gumps can't say OU was lucky as they continue to say about the Auburn game. OU is better. That is what pisses him off. Now,

Like Saban's hair, graying , his offense and defense styles are outdated . Saban should have went to Texas . Where he would have had 3 maybe 4 years to build a team . But at Bama if his team does what I think they will in 2014 lose 3 games . Saban will be feeling the heat from the Bama Fans .For a few years the hurry up is in ,. Bama knew what to do, but The sooners were able to run enough so the pass would work .Yes this bama team wanted to win . In the 2nd quarter they may have started thinking about the Auburn game a little . The 3rd , bama tried to make a run ,. Bama does not have a great defense . The sooners stopped the Bama run game , made them have to pass , and we watched as Bama could not adjust . At the start of the 4th the Auburn loss kicked in on the minds of the Bama players.Saban knew his team was in trouble at half time .A neighbor of mine is a bama fan . I called him this morning . His wife said he is in bed , He is sick. He called in sick where he works , he is sick. Yes he got the "Bama Blue flu" . That was a great game .( I hope my neighbor gets to feeling better this week end !!! )

That's a pretty dumb excuse. So now whenever they lose they "didn't care about the game?"
I mean what else is there to do for a college football player besides play the game? Cop out excuse IMO

Bama just got beat. Face it, by SEC standards, this was a down year for the conference (even though Auburn is in the NCG). The SEC has dominated recently with great defenses and strong running games. Defenses were down and this was the "year of the quarterback" in the SEC.

looked like they were pumped up to play but OU didn't lay down.

They did.
Saban hates losing any damn game.
Got asses kicked by a team that cared more....

They played hard. They were exposed again at their weak poinfs...The secondary....a mobile qb...and o line.

It's been well stated here...Yes they care big time.
They will get the gump swagger and say it really didn't matter however.

Don't kid yourself, they cared. McCarron's last game and the SugarBowl is still a big deal. They actually played well other than a couple of turnovers. Their Defense hasnt been great all year.

Yeah I think that when Bama scored the opening touchdown so easily they expected OU to quit like so many other teams would have. OU refused to be intimidated and played with aggression and without fear. The screen passes and misdirection plays confused Bama's defense all night, and OU's defense was able to get consistent pressure on McCarron. Stoops and co. deserve a tremendous amount of credit.

Did you see Saban fuming on the sideline? I guarantee he is in his office right now with his staff chewing them out and breaking down film.

Also OU wasnt afraid to pass on 3rd downs while trying to run the clock at the end. They stayed aggressive, and converted on 2 of them to nail the coffin. Some SEC coaches that will remain nameless would have run the ball and punted with over a minute left to see what McCarron could do.
