It will be very, very tough to do. Have to win four straight to even get to the final series and then win two of three. Winning four straight and 6 of 7 against this competition in such a time frame is hard to see.

The bats better start finding the gaps in this big arse park, that's the only way I see.

didn't they just this in hoover?

The hurdle is literally the exact same whether you lose the first game or lose the winner's bracket game. As long as you're 1-1 after two games, you have a shot.
I'm not counting counting any team out just yet, especially not LSU.

If Glenn returns to end of season form and Eades is actually consistent, I think we have a realistic shot.

It's comparing apples and oranges. You can't believe that the quality of teams at the SEC tournament is the same as those in Omaha.

I think they will. As bad as I want MSU to, I don't think it's in the cards for them.
My bracket as I have it picked.

So you guys that say no don't think LSU can win their next 2 games? We win 2 and it changes everything.

Right. Mathematically it's almost impossible.

While it's technically true that the same number of games must be played either way, it is not an identical hurdle.
I went through it awhile back(using regionals and CWS for data over the last 5 years), and of the teams that come all the way back, it is statistically about twice as likely to be the team that lost their second game compared to the team that lost their first -- presumably due to the different approach you have to take to pitching and "win at all costs" from the loser's bracket for an additional game vs a winner's bracket game.
That said, I certainly believe LSU can come all the way back -- it's just going to take a small adjustment at the plate to do it. You've got to get out of "Baton Rouge" form and back into "Hoover" form from an offensive approach. You killed a bunch of balls last night that were dying on the warning track -- got to get on top of those from here on out.
