They are the only team that could do it of the 4 in the loser's bracket, IMO. Still not easy.

I think we handle NC easily. Thursday will be tough, but if we win there, we get Nola on the mound for Friday so I'd really like our chances of forcing a Saturday game.
Going to be very tough to get the to Championship series. Rough math would tell you that a given team would have a 6.25% chance of winning 4 games of coin-flip in a row (1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2), but I'll bump that up to 10% since I still think we are the best team in the bracket.
On the other side of the bracket, I'd be pulling hard for a forced Saturday game and some extra inning affairs.

Kind of sad that fans of the other SEC teams have more faith in this LSU team than their own fans. That said, yes they can come back and win it all. But, they cannot play like they did last night. They need to be more patient at the plate, and stop trying to be heroes swinging for the fences. Base hits, and back to our fielding with no mistakes. It will be tough if we have to face Rodon of NC State, but I like our chances if Nola pitches, and is "on." I think after Katz hit that homerun, they all thought they could hit one too. I feel like the UCLA pitcher would have walked more of our guys if we just had the patience to wait it out. Anyway, Geaux Tigers! Let's play LSU baseball the rest of the way.

Can they? Of course. Will they? SCar accomplished the same route in 2010. The seniors on the team watched this, hopefully they took notes.

I think 3 of the 4 teams in the loser's bracket are still legit threats to win it. That's LSU, Oregon St, and Louisville. UNC just hasn't hit well enough of late and they don't have the pitching depth of the other 3.
