Most of you will say #6 Achane and you be wrong.

Our next starting Qb Hanes King outran #6 in the 40.

Remember that name. He is going to break shite. Including Bamas unbeaten streak.

Achane

If you remove the “ha” in the middle of his name, people might confuse him with the Auburn QB.

Seems dumb, play the best player.

Wasn't Jameis a freshman?

Achane doesn’t run the 40. He runs the 100 and 200 in track. But yes, King is one quick white boy

Saw him have a nice little drive vs Alabama’s 3rd stringers. Then he threw an Interception in the end zone. Never got past his first read, and took off running. To his credit, he had a decent drive, got first downs, and scrambled well, but good luck doing that all game as a starter in the SEC. He looked like a freshman, but showed some potential. Could end up pretty good with some more experience and coaching. Reminded me of JRP for Ole Miss. He’s now a WR, because there was a better option than just a fast QB.

Aren't they supposed to throw? How's his throwing?

Throwing can’t be too bad - he was at the Elite 11 with Young

Finley can throw - he was rushed onto the field too soon IMO. The improvement in King’s game between Alabama and SC is startling

Meh, he was only a three star and will likely be LSU's 4th string quarterback if he doesn't transfer.

Well yeah, Alabama > South Carolina.

As was Jerrod Heard, who was a tremendous runner. Just not at the other 90% of what made a good qb

King can throw the ball well - not worried about that. Can he run Fisher’s offense is the only real question.

Every football player runs the 40. Even the big maulers. I did not say this was on the track. It was on football grass.

Winston was a redshirt freshmen, numbnuts, which is what Haynes King will be this season.
