Idk. I think avenging their loss to Auburn and winning the sec was a big deal. That ultimately led them to make the playoffs. And I believe they were favored quite a bit to beat OU.
I’m curious what Georgia fans think their best win is with Kirby.

Georgia was favored by 1 against Oklahoma, I think. I know it was less than a FG.

I do think the Oklahoma game was his best win because of the circumstances. OU had a historically great college offense that we had no answers for in the first half. After halftime, we held them to 10 points on offense (they got a fumble return TD as well) over the second half and two overtimes. That game showed his and his staff's ability to make adjustments in the middle of a game. In the first half, Lincoln Riley coached circles around him. In the second half, the opposite happened.

His most important win was probably the 2017 Notre Dame game. ND was favored by a touchdown but our defense held them to 55 rushing yards and we won the game despite having a true freshman QB making his first career start. That game sort of set the wheels in motion for the Smart era after a tumultuous first year.

1. Lincoln Riley
2. David Shaw
3. Brian Kelly
4. Kirby Smart
5. Gus Malzahn
6. James Franklin
7. Ryan Day
8. Mike Gundy
9. Jim Harbaugh
10. Frank Solich

Of these I think 1, 4, 5 could win a NC during their time at their schools.

Shaw has plateaued at Stanford, IMO. I think he is going to need to take another job soon while his coaching reputation is still good. He is a great coach who probably needs a change of scenery. I don't think he's going to get them back to where he had them from 2012-2014.

0-2

What would Kirby’s record be if his first stop was Ole Miss and not a team coming off a 10-3 season?

Kirby has been a good coach. But he has underperformed with the talent he has had.
He does not yet have that signature win

God lord,Have ever watched UGA other than when they played LSU in '18 and '19? Not sure what your definition is of a "signature" win is but he has beaten 2 top 10 Florida teams,is 4-1 vs Auburn including a SECCG,beat OU in the semi final, beat two top 10 ND teams and beat a top 5 Baylor team with 11 starters out.

BTW,you wanna give me Coach O's signature wins in his 1st four years as HC?

What's his overall record vs Mullen?

Bronco Mendenhall and Kyle Whittingham are both very underrated coaches who would kill it at bigger schools.

So that would be a solid "no" correct?

As a natter if fact, how many programs have fired a coach after a 10 win season?

Kirby hasn’t improved UGA at all. But congrats on beating up on Dan Mullen and Chip Kelly

We haven't played UCLA since 1943. So either you have no idea who Georgia has played, or you're a fricking retard who thinks Chip Kelly and Brian Kelly are the same person.

I mentioned everything you just said. You jumped so fast to respond you didn’t even read the post or listen what I said. May need to read more. O has many signature wins. I would say one of them is against your Georgia team in 18. And obviously Alabama which Georgia hasn’t been able to do. Pretty sure he’s 9-0 vs top 10 Teams other than Alabama. 9-3 counting bama. O has not been the best against Mullen. But everyone has that coach/ team that is hard to beat. With you it would be bama.
I believe at LSU O is 2-2 vs Mullen not sure. Still hasn’t stop us from winning a natty and beating Georgia.

Also Baylor was not number 5. They were 7.

You’re right. I don’t care. UGA plays the SEC East and Auburn every year. Yawn. Call me when Kirby does anything Richt didn’t. UGA is the most underachieving program in college football and has been for almost half a century. Kirby hasn’t changed that

But I am glad you spent the time to google when UGA last played UCLA

I've said that multiple times on this board. You won't get any argument here, but people who think Kirby sucks as a coach make me laugh. Especially when those same people see Mullen as some kind of offensive savant, yet Mullen's offenses can never move the ball against Kirby's defenses.

Harbaugh.

Though it's a lifetime award here.

He’s a poor game day coach, good recruiter. Won’t do any better than Richt did. Doesn’t make him suck, but he’s not great

I don’t see Mullen that way

Do you have any idea how bad that 10-3:team was? It should have lost to
George Southern in OT

Do you wanna know how bad his senior class
was he inherited? Not ONE senior was drafted and the only player drafted was a KR in the 6th round.
