Arkansas by a good margin. 7 trips to Omaha under DVH and a fluke dropped pop fly from having a title as well

Why would Arkansas be any worse than 2nd? I get it's a troll attempt thread, just not sure why.

Until recently, Alabama was #2. You Mississippi guys knocked us down a few spots.
Sadly, even with a pretty storied history, without us getting over that title hump I'll always rate us below programs with a trophy. Arkansas is better than us now, but overall history we're probably a bit better with two runner-ups - sadly, after that stretch from '96-'99, if we didn't win it all during that time frame we probably never will.

History and reality: Miss. State was the first SEC program to recognize that baseball could become a successful, money-making sport due to Ron Polk.
Then, LSU got on the bandwagon with Skip Bertman. For a while, SEC baseball was State versus LSU.
But the other programs soon caught on, and today, the SEC is the best baseball league in the country, and the SEC West is the best division.
No reason to fight among ourselves. There's plenty of chest-thumping to go around.

Arkansas will win a national championship in baseball sooner rather than later. They’re pretty consistently a top 5 team and would have won it this year had it not been for Dylan delucia. I think they beat Oklahoma in 2 games.

I’ve been to a ton of Ole Miss baseball games in my life, especially when I was a student. But I still don’t think I’ve been to more games in Oxford than I did to Dudy Noble when I was a kid. I remember Alabama in the late 90’s being a machine and competing with State and LSU year in and year out.

The same way that SC is a better program than FSU. We have won titles. Trips to the CWS are great, your program is far superior to say Tennessee because of it, but titles lift you up
