3-0 over the last week with a win over #18 on the road. KenPom unconvincing.

Zero teams in the top 29 of KenPom is hilarious. League is really, really bad. Probably should be a 4 bid league and even that kind of feels generous.

Yep!

LSU fans acting being ranked 30 in KenPom is an accomplishment this time of the year. Plus being ranked 135th in defensive efficiency (woof).

SEC would be lucky if any team makes it past the 1st weekend.

I agree, but a lot can change as the season goes on. If LSU can tighten up things defensively they could be a very dangerous team come March

Last year there were 6 SEC teams in the top 26 and 3 in the top 11. Crazy dropoff but obviously the league lost a lot of talent.

College Basketball is bad this year. The SEC is better than people think. It’s funny seeing Tennessee fans rationalize their sucking that way though.

Nope, not even close. Sorry, the metrics is proving it. Y’all crushed Clemson fans for playing in the sucky ACC for football...well, look in the mirror. The SEC is not good this year.

Evansville and Utah are anchoring Kentucky...the Evansville loss at HOME is killing us. I’m afraid Kentucky is flawed...just like the rest of the SEC.

I think most LSU fans feel accomplished to be once again 1st in SEC. After a 16-2 SEC season last year to start 7-0 is quite the accomplishment. Our KenPom isn't great because we've let teams come back on us late and close gaps but being 7-0 is an accomplishment.

Our defense has not been good enough but it's been good in spurts and awful in spurts. Tigers trying to clean up the bad spurts, but it is an accomplishment to be 4th in offensive efficiency.

What I gather from this list is that the SEC is very weak this year.

Facts are placed in front of you and you choose to ignore them. You related to Adam Schiff, LSU Patrick?

Uh, no. I blame Prick’s piss poor recruiting for Tennessee being so bad. Tennessee being horrendous does not somehow equate to the SEC somehow being better than the numbers show. The best two teams in the league have losses to Utah State, ETSU, Evansville and Utah.
