Who is in a worse situation moving forward? Florida or Georgia?

Georgia is now stuck with the next Mark Richt. Yeah, Smart will occasionally have a good year, but he will never really get over the hump. He will be at Georgia for the next 10 years and have zero trophies.

Now, Florida on the other hand is about to make a huge hire. Not another Saban assistant promotion. Florida will get all of the talent moving forward and own Georgia's arse (and the rest of the SEC east) for years to come.

Another note for Georgia fans: Muschamp had a really good second year too. Where did that lead again?

Saban assistants never work out. Good luck.

Maybe wait until Florida makes an actual hire before talking smack.

Good grief. Check into to rehab. Atleast go to a few AA meetings. Being this drunk on a Sunday night means things are out of control

naw man

we good

Kirby is recruiting at an elite level

also, we are still alive for a playoff berth

I'm hoping for a rematch with Aub in Atlanta & my guess is we will get it (Bama has a lot of key guys out)

our guys looked wound up and just played stupid

not taking away from Aubie; they were on fire and are legit

but they had a frickup game against Mercer - they are not unbeatable by any stretch

either way, the future looks bright if Kirby can keep recruiting at an elite level

Smart is not the next Mark Richt yet . UF and UT could end up hiring a bust right now .

Georgia hired a defensive coach and it is working out in year two. The bigger question is can Smart recruit to keep them at the level Richt’s players have him at now. Time will tell for UGA.

Florida struck out with their last coach bc they wanted an offensive minded coach. This league is about winning games and defense is how you accomplish that. UF won two division titles with Muschamp’s players (mostly on defense) then sucked after they left for the NFL.

The verdict is Florida because of the uncertainty of who will lead them next year. If you want to get back to your winning ways hire a defensive guy and forget about scoring points.

It's usually offensive coaches that work the best but perhaps Georgia has the second Mark Dantonio from the tree...and truthfully Muschamp doesn't look that bad at South Carolina. He inherited an absolute disaster there and now has South Carolina at likely 8-4, maybe even 9-3 if an upset is pulled over Clemson.

And to actually answer this question, until Florida sorts out their mess in the higher ups, it's Florida. Too many hands in what is going on never works. Ever.

Was Georgia stuck with Mark Richt or was Mark stuck with Georgia? Miami looked mighty good Saturday night.

Mark Richt was burned out because of the toxicity in the higher ups at Georgia and for some reason, that cleared up with him going.

Auburn was more mentally prepared and played harder. It seems Smart tried to use the emotions tactic and it backfired with undisciplined play.

No one thought this team was going undefeated. With that, the Lot Lizards are in terrible shape.

Many of you Georgia fans thought you were going undefeated...

Are you serious?

It is as long as Steve Spurrier is coming into the offensive coaching meetings and you have Foley all up into things. No good coach is going to want to come into that shite.

Florida use to be a premiere job. It's still very good but FSU always looms. Miami is rising fast and getting on par with the state.

If Tamu can get their shite together, they can get the premiere prospects in state vs. Texas.

If Florida lands Dan Mullen they'll be dangerous; if they go for a flashy hire (like Chip Kelly) they'll be right back here in 3 or 4 years

You should probably be more concerned with your own team right now after Georgia & Missouri dropped 87 points on your defense
