The Bear had a 25–14–2 overall record although he was somewhat handcuffed by the racist Aggie leadership.

Jumbo's title actually came in in the final year of the BCS.

He made the first ever playoff the following season and got snashed by Oregon.

I will go with Jimbo. He's got a very average program at its peak.

I hate that weasel Fisher, but what he's done at arse to mouth is what he's done everywhere, in every position he's had, including AU. He's going to be challenging us all in the SEC west because he knows what he's doing. I don't like it, but that's going to happen.

I don't usually upvote LSU posts but this fan is very perceptive. Hiring Jimbo has brought stability and an attitude that nothing less than excellence is accepted.
