Not so odd. I know a guy who played D2 like 10 years ago and to this day doesn't watch football at any level.

Gumps thought it was outrageous when I said to recruits the only thing that matters is the last ten years.....LSU to this current generation is the better team and program. Bama is the new kid on the block.

I don't think my life is any better because I know who Bear Bryant is. He really isn't important outside of Alabama, I don't think.
