If Orgeron gets to 11 wins this year its plausible Arkansas could make an offer. He needs coordinators, but he is elite at recruiting. He wouldnt downgrade obviously, so itll be Gus Malzhan, but still.

What's the feeling about Morris at Arkansas
I don't know what they expected considering the guy has one half-notable win in 4 seasons as a HC. Are they in "what a dumb hire, let's cut bait" mode?

Still too early to tell for me. He took over a dumpster fire at SMU and steadily improved each year then left to take over another dumpster fire here.
If we go 0-8 again his seat will be very hot going into 2020 though.

Some folks are declaring that the sky is falling and that we will do so badly that we will not only fire Morris at the end of the year but cancel the football program altogether. We aren't, however, so desperate we are talking about hiring Coach O.
Others are prepared to see how he does this season. Its going to be a long rebuild given what he was handed so most of us are willing to give him another year or two.

I'd be willing to see Houston get another job here. I've been thinking for awhile we needed to hire a shitload of analysts like Alabama does. Houston may make a good running backs, off field, assistant analyst coffee-getter.
