Asking for a friend.

Does it really matter?
Alabama’s version of Bo Nix but worse.

A really hard working great grandson of a famous coach who is probably best suited to be running the offense at Troy or Jacksonville State.
No worries for you guys - we don't have any starting NFL QBs in backup roles this year. It's Bryce or bust.

The guy who got pulled from holding duties in the third quarter because he can't handle a cot danged snap.

He’s done that 2 or 3 times this season lol

Yes. Yes he has.
Truth be told, if it really came down to that, I'd expect to see Milroe thrown out there at QB anyway.
I'm not sure he's ready yet, but he's a better option than Tyson, IMO.

He is neither Tua nor Jalen I can assure you

Trust me, we don’t want to know.

not trolling, but I didn't realize that. I wonder if the family is sore about him never going to be a starter?

That makes me feel a little better. Not much. But a little.

Nah I think the family would rather see Bama win a game or two.

I don't blame you. But the reality is we did just fine without one of those last year. 41-24 fine.

Hell no. It's not a mystery why he isn't starting.

I think the family is just thankful that he's at Alabama. Or they should be (not trying to be mean or anything, just the truth). He's not an SEC QB.

I get it, it's refreshing to know they aren't that type of family.

He would have probably been okay on our old Saban teams where the defense carried.
We need a supserstar now unfortunately.

I'm going to be honest here.
I thought he was a great QB in high school. Think A.J. McCarron in terms of build and mechanics.
Ever since he got to campus, he's looked lost. Slow, confused. Really has been a big surprise to me (in a bad way).
I think his family and any other objective observers have to know this too.
I do like Milroe, however, and think he's currently underrated by fans who haven't seen him practice. He's got a canon for an arm and great wheels—he's just inconsistent. Hopefully he's getting there, and will overtake Tyson on the depth chart, if he hasn't already.
Either way, this year, if Bryce goes down (especially with no running backs), we're fricked.

Yea I thought he'd be a legitimate option as a "game manager" starter one day. He's just never really looked to be that since he's been on campus.
I mean I hate it for the kid that the snap stuff went down the way it did. That can't feel good.

If Bryce gets hurt on Saturday we might literally not get another first down.

That happens to a lot of kids when they make the jump to college (looking at you Myles Brennan) and I'm sure the pressure of the last name alone doesn't help.
