Who has had the most disappointing season so far?

Candidates
Tennessee- UTjr entered the season with high hopes and a big winning streak. There was a lot of confidence that this was the year 3rd-year Coach Jeremy Pruitt could get them back in SEC East contention.
Unfortunately they suffered 2 blowout losses in a row to Georgia and Kentucky, and Pruitt (.514) now has a lower win percentage at Tennessee than Butch Jones (.557). Some Vol fans are calling for a change to be made.
LSU- The Tigers entered the year as defending national champions. Despite losing over 75% of their returning production, most LSU fans still thought they could be playoff contenders.
This does not seem to be the case, as they are 1-2 with losses to Mississippi State (1-3) and Missouri (1-3). Bo Pelini, who was supposed to be as good or better than Dave Aranda, is looking like the worst DC in the country. Certain LSU fans are even referring to Coach O as Ed Chizik.
Auburn- The Tigers were looking for improvement this year. They were happy that Gus Malzahn was no longer calling plays. SEC Freshman of the Year Bo Nix would come back with a year of experience under his belt.
But things have not gone well. The offense looks worse than last year, Nix looks like he is an average QB at best. Auburn has lost 3 in a row to Georgia, Arkansas, and South Carolina. Things aren’t looking good on the plains, and the Tigers are still 4 years or $21 million away from any change.

The champs have one win so far. The real question is other than LSU who has been the most disappointing? I say Auburn.

LSU and it’s not even close

You should have finished your question with "and why is it LSU".

To me it’s between Auburn and LSU. Auburn has had the more disappointing season, but I think Auburn fans always knew Gus wasn’t the guy. Now that LSU fans are starting to doubt Orgeron...they have a case for most disappointing.

LSU has reverted back to LSwho.

LSU
Only because Wally told me they were going undefeated.

I question anyone who doesn't have LSU as their answer.

I said 7-3 before the last round of opt-outs, after that I was thinking 6-4. Underestimated just how horrible the Pelini hire was.
I thought Tennessee could've been a contender if they had gotten a transfer QB instead of JG, but even that probably wouldn't have been enough

You must hate your Bama team logo, you never have it on screen. Bama will be the most disappointed when all said and done. We didn’t expect much. I admit I didnt expect loses to State and . We will see when it is all said and done. Good to see you still melting over last years arse kicking. Never counted but damm you love you some LSU lots of threads .

LSU
This weekend lost the forfeit that would have gotten the team back to. 500
Started the year in the top five but are going to be a toss-up against South Carolina and dogs to probably more than half the remainder.

Logical LSU fans had some concerns about losing players to the draft and Covid, but I don’t think 1-2 to start the season was what they expected.
I’ll go Auburn, they are 2-2 and could easily be 0-4. Malzahn should be fired, Tank Bigsby is the best player on that team and it is not close. For the love of God, what does Gus see in Bo Nix?

Pruitt aint leaving....Although the Cats spanked our butts yesterday and 3 times in the last 7 years, you cannot take that win away from them. They have got better under Stoops. Since 1980 they have beat us 5 times.
As far as GA goes, you were leading at half against Bama and blew it with turnovers. Sort of like last weekend when we played u all. Nice try on trying to deflect your melt on LSU, TN and Auburn.

As an outsider who can be more objective I would say Auburn. I thought they would be better with Nix having a year under his belt.
Most surprising has to be Arkansas. They could be 3-1 very easily
