Saban... are they still pursuing him or permanently scratched from the owner's list.

Dabo... maybe he makes the jump to try the NFL?

Riley... OU could be in the rearview.

Texans are open, Dallas may feel they made a hiring mistake and the Falcons are a mess. Interesting year for sure.

Noones is calling Saban. That ship has sailed and he’s just not a good head coach in the NFL. Dudes won’t take his temper tantrums like teenagers will.

Dabo isn’t NFL head coach material. He’s a dominant recruiter.

Lincoln is getting some calls for sure. I’m betting he wishes he would have taken the Cowboys job.

Other names id watch out for the the college ranks to make the jump: Ryan Day and Dan Mullen.

Gus. But they will only call him to replace the guy selling hot dogs and beers.

I can't imagine Lincoln Riley getting a call from am nfl team but klif Kingsbury got a job so who knows. The cowboys need to let Mccarthy have a little bit of time. Their defense sucks arse but so does most of the NFL these days. The way the rules work the best defense in the league can't hold the chiefs or Seahawks under 35 if they want to score that many.

Gus.

I mean just some bad breaks from 15-0 every year.

No doubt.

Gus hoist multiple Lombardy Trophies over next 3 years. The Lions are just a Gus away from a dynasty.

I can’t see Dabo’s personality working in the NFL. He is good where he is at.

If you lose to Arkansas this weekend, how long until Gus gets fired?

I can see him being picked up by Houston with Deshaun Watson.

With the shift to mobile QB's they will likely draw some interest.

Probably none of them. Saban and Dabo I don’t think are interested and the NFL knows it. Riley is a 7 on 7 passing league coach. So probably none.

Although Cardinals did go with the 7 on 7 guy

“Arkansas is now one of the best teams in our division. Playing physical. Young talent with speed. You can see the passion they have for the game. We will have to compete every down. No doubt.”

Beat me to it. It's not like Lincoln all of a sudden forgot how football works. But he's now having to work with more inexperience than he ever has, and, if I had to guess, is having to figure out for the first time how to recruit solely on fixing giant liabilities.

These are things that are not really a head coach's responsibility in the NFL. In the league, you're surrounded by players who are supposed to be professionals and have a full executive office and GM to help get you the pieces you need.

Saban and Dabo are never leaving college. They're bonafide kings that are immortal at their current position and making more than most of the NFL coaches.

Yeah, Dabo's act would go over big with
an NFL team.

This is the correct answer. In the NFL he doesn't have to worry about anything but coaching offense and he has no limits on practice time.

Saban is locked in at Bama until he retires now. Remember the whole "he never stays" narrative? 13 years later...lol

If Dabo ever had NFL aspirations, now would be his opportunity with Watson in Houston. Starting QB considered elite with a new long term contract just happens to be his former star player. That being said, I think if Dabo ever leaves Clemson, it'll be for Alabama.

Lane Kiffin? Raiders flop aside, he's been a NFL HC and now is, theoretically, more mature and experienced. More time to chase skirts in the off season without having to recruit as well. Downside... giving up current plentiful supply of college co-eds.

Learn what a melt is before coming at me, slap dick.

He tried the NFL and went 15-17 while passing on Drew Brees for Dante Culpepper. Sorry that hurts your feelings
