No way the big 12 can stay afloat until 25. Oklahoma and Texas are the conference

I say '23 at the latest most likely.

The Big 12 children were able to delay our move a year with bullshite legal shenanigan's and propaganda. Bet your arse Texas will put their foot down on any propaganda (they ARE the propogandists, along with ESPN), but the lawyers may muck it up enough to delay it a year or so.

I'll say 23. Just way too many moving parts in all 19 sports.

Two obstacles
1) the buyout
2) tv rights

ESPN will have to pay a massive amount of cash (B12 schools aren't leaving because they make more to stay) to move OU and Texas and if they damage the GOR legally at all than the B10 will use that precedent to dismantle the ACC.

22 is possible, but I think 23 is the best bet.

45% by 22
90% by 23

You have to remember that LHN is a huge negative number for espn. The sooner the better for them. The sooner the better for SEC. And the staying together for the kids mode is not god for the B12.

If the rumors are right, it will be 22 without a doubt.

I could be wrong

Right now, the SEC can't accept OU and UT before 2025, because they can't give ESPN the exclusive television rights, because the Big 12 owns it.

I think the odds are heavily in that favor.

This off-season, the Big 12 will be officially poached and dissolved. Or, ESPN picks up the exit fee and SEC helps offset the media rights losses through the end of the Big 12 grant of rights. Or, however the fine print and fees/$$$s work out in the seperation, it will be done.

You can't live with your Ex for 3 yrs after the breakup, especially when that Ex (or at least half of it in this analogy) is already a proven high-maintenance, self-involved, mega bitch.
