Are you saying Alabama has not changed their offense or defense in 16 years?

I think the basic system/process remains unchanged, but as the game evolves Saban picks coordinators whom he feels will best help Bama adapt to changes.

Of course they change but it’s Saban’s offense and Saban’s defense.

The coordinator’s do their thing inside Saban's system

But yet all the Bama fans have blamed BoB and Golding or **insert coordinator name** for a loss, when its Saban all along?

If I gave you a playbook, and you failed to apply those concepts correctly based on how the game unfolded in real time, would it be my fault or yours?

Not really true. He wants the coordinators to use his terminology and concepts so that it's easier for players to adapt to different coordinators. Pretty smart actually.

BS, one of the greatest things about Coach Saban is his willingness to change, evolve, and his openness to listen to different perspectives. He is not stubborn or unwilling to change and he understands others may have a better understanding and plan for the game.

He may keep the same "process" in place and make his coordinators adapt to his process. But he does not retard grow or refuse to evolve concepts on offense/defense.

Les Miles was a perfect example of a stubborn HC that could not let go and evolve, Gus Malzhan was another. Just stubborn as mules and refused to accept they needed to change their way of thinking. We'll see if Jimbo Fisher intends to dig his heels in OR if he'll step aside and let his OC run the show.

So what you’re saying is you only discovered this thing called “college football” in the last roughly 4-5 years.

The Bama Dynasty closing is providing some interesting pre-melting. Just a casual observation from a casual fan. Carry on.

So is Cole the OP or is the OP the source for Cole's info?

You're a fricking idiot. NS has changed and adapted. He had to. The game has changed tremendously from 2003. He may have his way of running his program but his on field play has changed dramatically
