Serious question. Stoops and Urban have too fragile of egos to take it. Kirby is home.

Franklin? Fleck?

Coach that follows Saban will have a tough hill to climb. Nothing will be good enough. It may be better to be the 2nd or 3rd coach hired after Saban.

I honestly think Dabo would turn them down.

I'm certain Clemson would match any money any other school threw on the table.

They'll look at how LSU struck gold with Orgeron and try to duplicate the process.

And hire Chad Morris.

At this point, Dabo could go 10-2 or 9-3 every year at Clemson for the rest of his career and be a god in Clemson, SC. Maybe he makes the playoffs once in a while, but he wouldn't be in that awful sewer of a pressure cooker that is Tuscaloosa.

Dabo can do everything at Clemson that he could do at Alabama. Zero motivation for him to move.

He might not know anything about ball but Trump can rally the troops if Harvey Updike isn't available.

Sark would be glorious.....alcoholic, with the pressure to follow little lord fontleroy, and the red neck utopian delusional expectations.

like watching a head on collision...that you have to watch...

In order, calls that will (should)be made

Dabo
James Franklin
Pj fleck (up and coming Saban)
Bob stoopes

What scares me is David Byrne's out of the box thinking (see sorry arse nate oates hire) and him going completely into left field with a chip Kelly, Mark richt or herm Edwards.

Except for the whole Bama alum, still owning a home in Alabama and his family being in Alabama thing. Dabo is in Alabama a lot during the off-season and he would not be intimidated by sabans shadow one bit. It won't be money that decides where he goes, it won't be an attachment to Clemson. It will be does Dabo want to coach at a place he dreamed of playing, coaching and went through hell to make that happen. I don't know if he will or won't but I do guarantee if he does say no it will be something he has to think about for a few days at least. It won't be an immediate no.
