My personal prediction is Duke will hire Tony Elliott from Clemson. But Elko has a lot of history playing and coaching for academic-focused private schools. So I'm not surprised that he's interested in the Duke job, and wouldn't be surprised if he takes it if offered.

A&M pays their assistant coaches more than Duke would pay a head coach. Doubt Elko would leave for Duke anyway. Got it too good where he is.

His son played baseball for CSHS and is playing up north somewhere for college. My daughter couldn't remember which university, but Duke wouldn't surprise me given family dynamics
