With identical records, who of the two did a better coaching job, LSU’s Ed Orgergon or Missouri’s Eliah Drinkwitz? I would say Eliah Drinkwitz because he had so much less talent to work with.

Did he, though? I honestly don't know. I mean, if you consider the talent LSU lost and all the opt outs....It would be hard to say. LSU probably had overall better talent, but it was young and inexperienced.

Just a guess that Mizzou's talent was more seasoned.

I did. If those Mfers would have run the ball when I said, the games would have have larger margin of victories.

Plus, he has been a HC for only two years. one year at Appalachian State and one year at Missouri. Also, Drinkwitz have improved the recruiting class at Missouri. Did a much better job than Odom did in any of his recruiting classes.

Not one A&M poster worth a crap on this board. All seem to be trolls. That orange bowl victory over a terrible 8-4 team has got A&M thinking they are elite . How many ranked teams did you guys beat again to be talking all this smack?

It’s a fair question. You both went 5 and 5 this year. But LSU ranked number six in talent rankings. However, Missouri ranked 50 this past year. LINK

0 did all he could do to hold that uber talented team together to weather the COVID storm.

I’ll go with 0.

Let's see. One coach beat Florida away, the other one got deep dicked by a Guarantano lead Tennessee squad, in one of the most comprehensive beat downs of Pruitts tenure at Tennessee.

So Why even pose this question ? Comparing a guy who has won nothing to a guy who won a national Championship little over a year ago. LSU basically replaced every starter last year, lost its starting QB in the first few games, fielded the worst defense at LSU in 20 years, opt outs during year, injuries and played freshman the rest of the year at QB. Yeah 5 and 5 seems about right but we did beat a highly ranked UF team just like A&M and finished strong on the year. Looking back most LSU fans would have predicted maybe a few more wins but we knew 3 or 4 loses was a possibility.

Dont really know the situation with what Mizz had last year and dont really care but for an aggie to pose some random question trying to prove how coach O is worse than some random coach is laughable. Just shows how bad A&M posters are here and that A&M still has accomplished nothing in like 80 years of football

Yes, he did. By every measure. Recruiting rankings, all-conference/all-americans, draft picks etc. Plus Mizzou had plenty of opt out too.

Dude. You went 5 and 5 despite having top 6 talent. LSU winning a championship last year has nothing to do with this year. Accept where you are in life at the moment. It sucks. I understand. On the other hand, a team with top 50 talent in the same conference won just as many games. It’s a fair comparison.

you left off replaced every starter

So LSU returned 1 starter on Offense and 2 starters on defense. One of the starters on defense was stingley who didnt play much at all. I understand talent is important but it aint the end all. Mizz returned a total of 11 starters on offense and defense. LSU returned 3 and 1 hardly played. LSU had talent and you saw it at the end of the year but that talent takes time and some game experience and we will see who has the better year this year.

Y'all always use this excuse as if it somehow doesn't reflect extremely poorly on the head coach who used to coach defense.

Coach O lost to a couple of teams that had first year head coaches.

3 of his wins were against teams that fired their coach.

Auburn, Vanderbilt and South Carolina

That being said LSU could easily been 8-2 or 7-3 very respectful after the talent they lost. I'm still adamant he didn't prepare LSU early in the season. Especially when they beat Florida later in season with arguably a worst roster than when they began.

I’m sure you’re trying to troll, but the answer is obviously Drinkwitz. Orgeron himself would probably even tell you that. Overall, Orgeron has accomplished more than Drinkwitz likely ever will, and LSU has a much higher ceiling than Mizzou.

My apologies for having your coach canned.
