From UGA, I would nominate DH Michael Curry and LF keegan McGovern for All SEC second team (not sure they've been the best at their spots but they've been pretty great).

Would also nominate SP Emerson Hancock for the All SEC team

Seems from the other thread that there is some unanimity for Stricklin as COTY so I've gone ahead an penciled him in there

Or, you know, tell me who you think is good for your team and we can make it the usual popularity contest

Would vote India, Mize, Keenan and Stricklin POY, PiOY, FOY, COY

Would think Fortes@C, Kessinger@SS, Olenek in RF, Dillard in LF and Carracci@RP will all be candidates.

I'd nominate Daniel Cabrera for FOY. Hitting .333 w 7 HRs 15 2Bs and 44 RBIs. Only player I'd argue to be on the all conference team would be Duplantis and maybe Hess as a 2nd team pitcher. Hilliard and Labas may make the freshman team as well.

India is going to win POY and Strickland COY. Pitcher of the year has a few guys that could win it as does FOY

It’ll be interesting to see who on Arkansas makes it.

2B Carson Shaddy - .364 10 HR 35 RBI —.420 in SEC play with 6 HR, 20 RBI
OF Eric Cole - .333 12 HR 40 RBI — .347, 8 HR, 25 RBI in SEC

OF Dominic Fletcher isn’t going to make the list but his conference stats are .346, 5 HR, 15 RBI after struggling in non-conference play he raised his BA 100 points once SEC started.

2 freshmen who are hitting 2 and 3 in our lineup:
3B Casey Martin - .335 10 HR 38 RBI
OF Heston Kjerstad - .351 10 HR 42 RBI

Pitchers
Blaine Knight 8-0, 2.87 ERA
Kacey Murphy 6-4, 2.30 ERA - lowest for SEC starter in conference play at 2.65 ERA
Matt Cronin 2-1, 3.12 ERA, 9 SV just coming back from illness

Both in the top ten in batting in the SEC right now. That's unreal.

I've gone ahead and filled out the rosters as best I could to strike up some conjecture but I really don't know enough about everyone's relievers and freshmen to make an educated guess

Eric Cole would make first or second team All SEC over Kjerstad. Heston freshman team no doubt.

The most highly touted prospect from our recruiting class DH/OF Cole Turney only had 7 at-bats because of a shoulder surgery that kept him out of all fall practice and our depth in front of him at both DH and OF.

He has Spanberger plus power but struck out like 6 of those 7 at-bats coming off the surgery vs live pitching.

Jake Mangum. He is the best cf in the conference. He changes the game when he is on base. He beats Ole Miss by himself.

Speaking for freshman I would say Auburn has 3 locks for freshman team.

Edourd Julien .275 13 HR 53 RBI
Steven Williams .310 10hr 49 RBI
Tanner Burns 4-4 2.97 ERA

Mize is hands down Pitcher of the year and should be Player of the year as well. Won't be too upset if India wins Player of the year just to give him some hardware.

Steven Williams is Freshman of the year.

Strickland is Coach of the year.

For Auburn I see Mize as 1st team, Williams, Holland, Greenhill, and Wright, as second team. Burns, Green Hill, Williams, and Julien as Freshman team.
