UCF already won the NC. They went undefeated and beat the only team that beat both UGA and Bama.

How does it feel to be the only team in history to ever beat both of your rivals, only to see them go to the natty game while you lose to a team that is led by a 1 handed linebacker, as well as finishing with 4 losses and giving your coach an extension and raise.

Pissed about losing the SECG, but we played Alabama while y'all played a brutal slugfest again Tech. In a few days your season will end and you'll have played 2 extra games for nothing.

Gus beat both rivals for the 1st time in years. He got his team ranked in the CFP and was the hottest team in the country..........for a week. Only to lose it all the next week, end up in the Peach Bowl vs undefeated UCF where he tallied his 4th bowl loss in his AU tenure. His fans watched their team lose to a G5 team and in the same day witnessed both of AU's biggest rivals advance to the NC game.
In the midst of this on the field roller coaster ride behind the scenes Malzhan & Sexton were able to devise a scheme to basically hold AU hostage with freaking Arkansas threats while they extorted $49 large/7 yr guaranteed contract out of the AU Administration before the SECCG was ever played. Gus inked that deal before he ever unpacked in ATL.
