Which will be a better tandem? Yeldon and (insert RB here) or Blue and Hill?

I've gotta go Blue and Hill simply because they're both legit (though Hill isn't on par with Yeldon and Gurley, he's clearly gonna be a monster either way. He could easily catch them though) and LSU returns a bit more on the OL than Bama. Now LSU does have a tougher schedule so Yeldon and whomever his partner in crime is could have better stats, but I think Hill/Blue's success will directly correlate to how LSU's offense does, those two can keep a defense honest, and if Mett has improved he has the targets out wide to make some plays.
Though Yeldon may not even be in a two back rotation, it could be a three back rotation. Of course LSU could always throw in Hilliard, but Blue/Hill both getting 14ish carries a game would probably dominate most teams.

This isn't fair. Could we get one topic in on the SECr where we actually talk some sports and not have a trollfest? Maybe just once?
Anyway, yeah good RBs all around.

That's the reason why I don't come here very often. All it is is a competition of which teams' fans can make the best flame. Some of it is funny, but most of it is just retarded people trying way too hard.

I've never heard of Blue.
Think about South Carolina's running backs...
Mike Davis and Whats-his-name.
Mike Davis was LAtty's backup last year, averaged 5+ ypc.
What's-his-name redshirted last year, but was Latty's backup in 2011, averaged 5+ ypc.
With Carolina's whole OL coming back under coach Elliott, one of the best position coaches in the country, that Bama tried to hire recently, those guys will open holes, and those running backs will run through them with fury.
The fact Connor Shaw is a dual threat himself...
I think South Carolina is the sleeper running back team. Not LSU.

It will be interesting to see which true freshmen get carries for Bama.

Alfred Blue...he had 12 YPC against UGA in 2011.
And yeah USCe has some latent talent in the back field, but Aubie does too. Their line will only get better, Tre Mason is legit, and they brought in that JUCO kid. If Gus picks the right QB, they could have one of the better ground attacks in the SEC.

1: UGA- Gurley and Marshall
2: SCAR- Davis and What's his name
3: Yeldon and Insert Name
4: Whatever Florida can pull together
5: Blueberry Hill... where I get my thrills.

How is Hill not on par with Yeldon??? Guy was just as dominant with a worse Oline than Bama last year and played in fewer games than Yeldon

Jonathan Williams + Alex Collins

Because anyone with two good eyes will tell you that Yeldon is better. What does Hill playing in less games havent to do with anything? Hill is a damn good RB, but not as good as Yeldon.
And LSU fans always bring up their oline as if it was insufficient. From the USCe game on, that oline was pretty damn good.

but I think Hill/Blue's success will directly correlate to how LSU's offense does
As opposed to an "indirect" correlation?

That pretty much makes your opinion worthless bc you aren't paying attention.
