Which team, not from Alabama, will be the first to win the West?

Since the SEC as become a 14-team conference, only teams from the state of Alabama have won the West in football.
Which team in the West, will be the first to win the West, outside of the state of Alabama?

TAMU easily has the most upside of any of those teams. With Jimbo and the state of TX to recruit from, I think they'll contend for the West. I think they push LSU down to their pre-Saban days. I like Moorhead at MSU, but MSU really doesn't have a high ceiling because they'll never have the talent behind their starters that Auburn, Bama, and UGA will have. Probably TAMU and UF as well.
